Events in Texas This January: With it being the first of the year, there are a few events that are going on around the state this month. Since it is still winter, please be aware of temperatures and any hazardous conditions when traveling.

One of the best events going on this month is the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. This is an awesome event that starts of the many livestock shows that occur in Texas. I would highly recommend taking a weekend with your friends and family to go to the stock show to see all of the amazing sights.

Houston Salsa Congress – January 11th – 14th in Houston – a four day latin event featuring some of the greatest names in performing arts and music!
Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo – January 12th – February 3rd – Fort Worth
Dunes Day – January 20th – Surfside Beach – Recycle Christmas trees into beneficial sand dunes along the Brazoria County coastline.
Bay City Wild Game and Wine Camofest – January 27th – Bay City – Live music, wine tastings, wine and beer for sale. Samples of locally caught samples of wild game.
