 Happenings in Texas in NovemberHappenings in Texas in November: Cooler weather and the holidays are here! There are a few different events going on throughout the state this month!

List of Events:

  • November 10th-17th – Houston Cinema Arts Society Festival – Houston

    • The 14th Annual Houston Cinema Arts Festival takes place from November 10th-17th. Virtually and in person at venues across Houston. HCAF 2022 will feature a wide variety of curated feature films. Focus on the diverse cultural community of Houston, Texas.
  • November 17th: Yoakum Sip and Shop – Yoakum

    • A fun day of shopping with over 20 retailers and 24 or more Home Based Businesses/Arts and Crafts vendors. All in downtown Yoakum. For $15 admission, you will receive a shopping bag, a wine glass and a punch card of all participating businesses as well as other goodies and coupons in the bag. Shoppers are encouraged to visit each retailer and vendors (one stamp) for stamps/punches on their card, which is turned at the end of the night for a drawing of nice prizes back to those wonderful businesses. Majority of businesses have refreshments in their stores to help you “Sip” your way around town in your wine glass.
  • November 18th – January 1st : Holiday Lights – Sugar Land

    • Experience over 3 million lights, a carnival, holiday vendors and more at the 9th annual Sugar Land Holiday Lights presented by Houston Methodist!

  • November 19th: Shiner Beer Run – Shiner

    • For the eleventh year in a row, people can see why nearly 2,500 Shiner residents love the Cleanest Little City in Texas. Routes begin together at the historic Spoetzl Brewery. The 5K is an out-and-back course through the picturesque city, while the Half Marathon is a hilly but scenic route through the Texas countryside, winding through Green Dickson Park and including a mile of loose gravel.
