Happy 59th Birthday, Jay! Tomorrow, April 9th, is a very special day here at Arcola Feed. We want to shout a massive happy birthday to our boss, my wonderful husband, and Alex’s amazing dad, Jay!

If you have been a loyal customer of ours for any length of time, you already know Jay well. You know that he dedicates his life to this store. In fact, you will find him here 99% of the time, working hard to make sure you get exactly what you need for your animals and gardens. He truly loves serving our Arcola community.

However, you might notice he is missing if you ever visit us on a Wednesday. About 15 years ago, our daughter Alex finally talked him into taking just one day off each week to rest. After much convincing, he chose Wednesdays as his dedicated day of rest. We are so glad he finally agreed to take a little time for himself!

Since tomorrow is his big day, we want to make it extra special for him. If you plan to stop by the store tomorrow to pick up feed, supplies, or garden plants, please take a quick moment to tell him “Happy 59th Birthday, Jay! !” He will certainly appreciate hearing it from the customers he cares about so much.
