It is Super Bowl Sunday!

It is Super Bowl Sunday! It is Super Bowl Sunday, the annual final playoff game for the NFL. The super bowl was created in 1966, which replaced the NFL Championship Game. Even though the day is meant to spend time watching football, there are many other factors that have come to make Super Bowl such a big event.

Aside from watching the game, most people turn on the Super Bowl to watch the amazing commercials. In addition, even the half-time performance. Super Bowl Sunday is also a day filled with lots of food. It is actually the second-highest eating day for Americans, falling just behind Thanksgiving.

Another fun fact is that the NFL doesn’t pay bands/artist for their halftime performances. While the NFL covers cost for the program and show, all performances are generally done for the publicity.

Lastly, I find it interesting that the average cost for a 30-second commercial during the Super Bowl costs about $5.6 million. The reason it is so expensive? On Super Bowl Sunday over 112 million people turn on their TVs to watch the game.

Overall, we hope everyone enjoys their Sunday. With it being Sunday, we will be closed but we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for any of the feed needs.
