Low cost vaccinations will be on Saturday, July 11, due to July 4 being on Saturday the week before. Please mark it on your calendar now so you do not miss it.

Don’t forget to bring your fur babies by for their annual vaccines from 9 a.m. to noon. This is a great time to stay on track with routine care and protect your pets for the year ahead. Rabies vaccines are required by law, so this visit is an important one.

In addition, don’t forget that we can also do heartworm checks while you are here. Heartworm disease is transmitted by mosquitoes and is very easy to prevent, but very difficult and expensive to treat. Sadly, treatment does not always work, which makes prevention even more important.

Our Low Cost Pet Vaccination Day is first come, first served, and no appointment is needed. Dogs must be on a leash, and cats must be in a crate and preferably leashed or harnessed for added safety.

It is so hot outside, so plan ahead before you come. It is easier on you and your pets to have a human or two along for the ride. That way, someone can stay in the car with the air on with your pets, so they do not get overheated. Remember to bring water for them as well. You can leave them in the cool car while you wait in line, then grab them once you get checked in. This helps reduce stress and makes the visit easier for everyone.
