Tomorrow is Low Cost Pet Vaccination Day at Arcola Feed! Don’t forget to bring your fur babies by for their annual vaccines! 9 am to noon.  Rabies vaccines ARE REQUIRED BY LAW.   In addition, don’t forget, we can also do heartworm checks while you are here.  Heartworm disease is transmitted by mosquitoes and is very easy to prevent, and very difficult and expensive to treat.  Sadly, treatment doesn’t always work.

The Low Cost Pet Vaccination Day is first come first serve, no appointment needed! Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a crate, and preferably leashed or harnessed. It is so hot outside! It is easier on you and your pets to have a human or two along for the ride! That way, someone can stay in the car with the air on, with your pets, so they don’t get overheated.

Remember to bring some water for them as well. You can leave them and the other person in the car, while you wait in line. Once you get checked in, you can grab them. It is so much better for them, instead of them standing in the heat with all the other dogs and cats! Doing this helps cut down on the anxiety level, too, for both you and them.
