Speaking of new…have you been in the store and met Buddy? Buddy is our new budgerigar, or budgie, or parakeet.

Jay was outside on the forklift one day, and Buddy flew down and landed at his feet, and followed him around.  Jay picked him up, which Buddy immediately showed his disapproval of by biting him, and brought him inside.  He is in a cage on the counter, and he spends his days singing in his cage. Unfortunately, Timothy thinks that Buddy is a snack, so, at this time, Buddy is confined to his cage.  We have found he has a fondness for 90’s rap.  He is particularly fond of “Pretty Fly” by The Offspring.  When we play the song, about midway through, he will start chirping and bobbing his head, and dancing back and forth on the perch.  It’s pretty cool to watch!
