This coming Sunday is Mother’s Day! We want to take a moment to celebrate all the incredible moms in our Arcola community. If you can, go out and buy your mom a nice gift to show your appreciation. We know she will absolutely love the thoughtful gesture.

However, you do not need to spend a lot of money to make her feel truly special. If you live with or close to your mom, simply make her breakfast, lunch, or dinner! I know I would absolutely love to have my daughter cook a fresh meal for me. Spending a whole day being pampered and cared for creates an awesome treat for any mother.

If your mom does not live close by, pick up the phone and give her a warm call! We genuinely love to hear from our children, no matter how old we get. Hearing your voice often means more than any physical present ever could.

We also know that families come in many different forms. If you do not have a mom, take this opportunity to do something nice for that special lady in your life. Honor the woman who serves as a great friend, a guiding mentor, or a supportive presence for you.
