What’s Happening in Texas This July

July 18th-19th – Night in Old Fredericksburg in Fredericksburg – Fredericksburg celebrates its heritage and Hill Country roots with live German and country music and dancing, a Lone Star BBQ Cook-Off, CASI Chili Cook-Off, goat roping, domino, and washer pitching contests, plus pari-mutual horse racing, arts and crafts, and more.

July 18th-19thWatermelon Festival in Hempstead – a family-friendly event that’s got something for absolutely everyone. It’s toe-tappin’ entertainment and awesome eats. There are antique cars and old-time parades. It’s can’t-miss shopping, games for the kiddos and all sorts of other fun to boot. (In other words, it’s somethin’ you won’t wanna miss!)

Jul 21stBrewsology Beer Fest in Houston – The Brewsology Beer Fest is the boozy hybrid of your middle school museum field trip. It takes over the Houston Museum of Natural Science after hours. The event will feature dozens of local craft breweries and cideries. It will give attendees access throughout the museum and exhibits, and will include beer samplings with access to brewery reps.

July 24th-26thThe Great Texas Mosquito Festival in Clute – The Annual Great Texas Mosquito Festival is a three day fun-filled, family event. There are many booths with a variety of foods, a 5K, a cook-off, along with arts and crafts and more. The carnival provides three days of fun for children and adults. Live entertainment caps off each evening.
